I knew the engine was, er, seized, but not as bad as it is.
It looks like it's been sat full of water and the crankshaft, big end and little end bearings have locked up solid.
Freeing oil has been applied to the little end/ gudgeon pin and left to soak over night.
A little persuasion and the 'variator' is loose and removable, but the timing cam seems to not want to play.
And who thought it was a good idea to... oh hang on this is 1940s technology.....
Worse case, I may need a new crank, or engine bottom end!
