The Mighty Zenits

The Zenits

When somebody in the former soviet union decided to play with a Lieca II copy they produced this long lived line of cameras.

The shutter is a straight copy from the Lietz pattern of the early 1930s, and it's still in production in Belarus as well as Russia today.

These are a small sample of what's out there, the bodies come in both all black and silver/black colour schemes, there's commemorative models as well. The best thing about them is the serial number, the first two digits tell you the year of manufacture making it easy to date them.
